Edmonton, Alberta · Industrial scrap & decommissioning

Scrap recovery that pays the project back.

ProCur Industrial Ltd. is a purpose-built industrial scrap subcontractor for Alberta decommissioning programs. We cut, haul and sell recovered metal on lease, and we settle open-book, so scrap removal becomes a revenue line on your project instead of a cost line.

The commercial model

Most scrap subcontractors quote a removal price. You book it as a cost.

You have no visibility into what the metal actually sold for, what grade discounts the mill applied, or where the margin sits between the mill cheque and your invoice. Scrap removal becomes an opaque line on the project budget. On a facility decommissioning scope, that line is not small.

Net Scrap Share reverses it.

ProCur takes recovered metal to market on your behalf, deducts a flat mobilization fee and day rate from gross mill revenue, and shares the net pool with you on a per-contract split. Every monthly statement arrives with the mill tickets, the weighbridge tickets, the day logs and any grade discounts, itemised. You see the same numbers we do.

How Net Scrap Share works, with a worked example

Capability

One subcontractor owns cut, load, haul, weigh, mill and settlement.

On-lease mobile shearing

A Vibraram XS3000 hydraulic shear on a Case CX240 24-tonne excavator, working at the wellsite or facility. Surface vessels, piping, tubing and rods cut to transportable size where they stand: no cold-cutting bottleneck, no oversize loads, no second mobilisation.

Haul and mill sale

Two Kenworth tri-drive Class 8 tractors, two Volvo tandem roll-off trucks and four 53-foot open-top gondolas moving 22 to 26 tonnes a load to active mill accounts across Alberta and Manitoba, on prepared-and-structural, shred and non-ferrous streams.

Sustained bin placement

Twenty roll-off bins available for continuous customer-site placement, so a long decommissioning program never waits on a bin.

Documentation your audit team will accept

SiteDocs is our system of record. Field-level hazard assessments, equipment pre-use inspections, observation logs and incident reporting are captured in-platform, every shift, on every site.

Year-round capacity

March to May, most of the province slows down. We don’t.

Our 3.5-acre industrial-zoned satellite in Thorhild County sits on a silica-maintained township road with year-round access and no spring weight bans. When road restrictions take capacity out of the market, ours stays available, and that matters most on the programs that cannot pause.
