ProCur Metals

Scrap contracts, procurement, on-lease mobile shearing and decommissioning subcontract work for Prime Contractors on the Orphan Well Association program and for Alberta operators executing their own liability obligations under AER Directives 058, 060 and 067.

Deliberately a subcontractor

ProCur Metals is deliberately a subcontractor. We are not bidding to be your Prime and we are not competing with your environmental consultant. We do one part of the scope, the metal, and we do it with equipment sized for it, a safety system built to your pre-qualification standard, and a commercial model that puts the recovery value back into your project.

Scope of work

Where we fit on your scope

Facility decommissioning support

Surface vessels, separators, treaters, tanks, compressor skids, buildings and process piping. Cut on lease to transportable size, loaded, hauled and sold. Batteries, satellites, compressor stations and gas plants.

Wellsite and pipeline scope

Wellheads, casing, surface piping, tubing and rods, third-party riser removal. High site counts, small per-site volumes: a volume play that rewards routing efficiency and bin logistics, which is how we plan it.

Yard processing

Material returned to our William Short Road processing yard is segregated by stream (prepared and structural, shred, plate and structural, cast iron, non-ferrous, dirty aluminum) before mill delivery. Internal processing posture; chain of custody stays clean.

Procurement and scrap contracts

Ongoing supply agreements with industrial facilities, fabricators and shops that generate steady metal volume, with certified-scale weighing and scheduled pickup.

Why a Prime engages us

Five reasons

The metal stops being your problem at the lease gate.

One subcontractor owns cut, load, haul, weigh, mill and settlement.

The recovery value comes back to your project.

Net Scrap Share, open-book, monthly.

Our paperwork lands in your system, not beside it.

SiteDocs field-level hazard assessments and equipment pre-use inspections every shift; five Safe Job Procedures covering shearing, material handling, oxy-fuel cutting, bin loading and on-lease work.

We are pre-qualification ready.
